BIO
Alberto was born in the Dominican Republic to a Cuban dissident and a Dominican banker. Raised Bilingual thanks to American international schooling and a hacked Satellite dish. All that American pop culture consumption inspired him to pursue a career in Advertising. After finishing the 13th grade of high school in Germany, he got a degree in Advertising communications, followed by a master in Copywriting at Miami Ad School, Miami Beach/San Francisco. He interned at Furia in Buenos Aires, Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Boulder and DOJO in San Francisco. He liked the FURIA vibes, and the vibes liked him, so he went back to Buenos Aires. After a year of eating way too many empanadas and working on Coca-cola and wine clients, he got a job offer in Cheil HQ in Seoul. As a lifelong lover of Korean food and Technology, he went for it. 8 years later, he has literally worked on hundreds of global campaigns for almost every Samsung Electronics brand and market; including India! He has also launched some smaller artistic side projects throughout his career. In 2020, he received a USA green card and moved to NYC right at the beginning of the pandemic! Yay! Alberto is currently looking for a place where he can do some good stuff with some good people.
